Prep Classic Announces Media Partnerships And Ticket Prices

Games Will Be Broadcast Live On FOX19

CINCINNATI (OH) – FOX19, WGRR, The Cincinnati Enquirer and CiN Weekly have become official media partners of the inaugural FOX19 Prep Classic, a tripleheader high school football showcase scheduled to take place over Labor Day weekend on Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004, at Paul Brown Stadium.

All three games will be broadcast on local television affiliate FOX19.  The FOX19 sports team will broadcast the event with live coverage of the 12:00 p.m. game between Moeller and Louisville St. Xavier, the 2:30 p.m. contest featuring Elder against Highlands. The 5 p.m. game between Colerain and Anderson will be delayed until 11:00 p.m. that evening after the fireworks. FOX19 will also extensively promote the Prep Classic leading up to the event.

The Cincinnati Enquirer and CiN Weekly will utilize their respective publications to promote and report on the FOX19 Prep Classic event, competing teams and final results.

WGRR (Oldies 103.5) has been selected as the lead radio station.  Also WGRR is scheduled to broadcast live from the FOX19 Prep Classic on game day.

Ticket prices for the FOX19 Prep Classic will be $10 pre-sale and $15 on game day.  Two dollars of each pre-sale ticket goes toward the participating schools.  For more on the FOX19 Prep Classic including ticket information logon to www.prepclassic.com.

Beneficiaries of the FOX19 Prep Classic include the Anthony Muñoz Foundation and Cris Collinsworth ProScan Foundation.  Ninety percent of the event proceeds will go to both foundations.

The FOX19 Prep Classic is promoted by Hacks Sports and is the direct result of a concerted effort between Hamilton County officials, the Cincinnati Bengals, Anthony Muñoz Foundation and Cris Collinsworth ProScan Foundation to bring an annual showcase prep football event to the Greater Cincinnati area that features top regional and eventually top national programs.
