Prep Classic
Announces Media Partnerships And Ticket Prices
Games Will Be
Broadcast Live On FOX19
CINCINNATI (OH) – FOX19, WGRR,
The Cincinnati Enquirer and CiN Weekly have become official media
partners of the inaugural FOX19 Prep Classic, a tripleheader high school
football showcase scheduled to take place over Labor Day weekend on
Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004, at Paul Brown Stadium.
All three games will be
broadcast on local television affiliate FOX19. The FOX19 sports team
will broadcast the event with live coverage of the 12:00 p.m. game
between Moeller and Louisville St. Xavier, the 2:30 p.m. contest
featuring Elder against Highlands. The 5 p.m. game between Colerain and
Anderson will be delayed until 11:00 p.m. that evening after the
fireworks. FOX19 will also
extensively promote the Prep Classic leading up to the event.
The Cincinnati Enquirer and
CiN Weekly will utilize their respective publications to promote and
report on the FOX19 Prep Classic event, competing teams and final
results.
WGRR (Oldies 103.5) has been
selected as the lead radio station. Also WGRR is scheduled to broadcast
live from the FOX19 Prep Classic on game day.
Ticket prices for the FOX19
Prep Classic will be $10 pre-sale and $15 on game day. Two dollars of
each pre-sale ticket goes toward the participating schools. For more on

Beneficiaries of the FOX19
Prep Classic include the Anthony Muñoz
Foundation and Cris Collinsworth ProScan Foundation. Ninety percent of
the event proceeds will go to both foundations.
The FOX19 Prep Classic is
promoted by Hacks Sports and is the direct result of a concerted effort
between Hamilton County officials, the Cincinnati Bengals, Anthony Muñoz
Foundation and Cris Collinsworth ProScan Foundation to bring an annual
showcase prep football event to the Greater Cincinnati area that
features top regional and eventually top national programs.
